Our Managing Director and Founder, Mr. Bipin Agrawal, has been in this industry for more than three decades now and it has always been his dream to add value to his country. He observed the widespread malnutrition issues in India among people from different backgrounds, which became even more prominent during the Covid-19 pandemic. He knew he could not be a mere spectator in this critical time and decided to do something to eliminate this problem. After intense research with the support of his son, Aashutosh Agrawal (CEO of CLRK Industries), and the entire CLRK team, they found a solution.
We came across a project run by the Government of India in which it is mandatory to supply fortified rice to children via mid-day meals, and also emphasises procuring fortified rice for the Public Distribution System (PDS). When we researched more about fortified rice, we understood that this is the solution that can tackle malnutrition.
Consequently, Mr. Aashutosh Agrawal, CEO recognized that we need to bring this plan in action. So, he and Mr. Girdhari Agrawal, our COO took the initiative to start a Fortified Rice manufacturing brand. With the help of Ms. Aakriti Mittal, our CFO and Ms. Khushi Agrawal, our CMO, we created Nutriso, your trusted fortified rice manufacturer. At CLRK Industry, we strongly believe that fortified rice is the future of rice and a way to fight nutrition deficiency among our people.
Why we started?

He knew he had to do something about it and he started researching a way to solve this with the help of his son Aashutosh Agrawal (CEO of CLRK Industries) and his entire CLRK team.
We came across a project by the government of India where they are making it mandatory to supply fortified rice to children via mid day meals and also are emphasising on procuring fortified rice for the public distribution system (PDS) which is provided by millers like us. When researching more about fortified rice we understood that this is the rice which can resolve the issue of malnutrition and fulfil the dream of our founder.
Our CEO Aashutosh Agrawal stepped up and decided that it was time for some innovation in the rice industry and he took the initiative along with the COO of the company Mr. Girdhari Agrawal to manufacture fortified rice.So our CFO Aakriti Mittal and CMO Khushi Agrawal created the brand Nutriso to market and promote our nutritious fortified rice. We at CLRK Industry strongly believe that fortified rice is the future of rice and a way to end nutrition deficiency among our people.
